SMUDGE SAYS: The Joker is one scary individual. He is Batman's most formidable adversary because his mind is near impossible to profile.

There is a method to his madness, but if anyone can decipher his logic, they deserve a medal.

Joker can kill without warning, catching friend and foe in the crossfire without remorse. Many other criminals are scared to work with him because he is too much of a wildcard.

Joker has one of the highest body counts in the DC Universe. He has murdered Jason Todd, the second Robin and has driven Commissioner Gordon to the brink of insanity.

He's also been played by Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger in film. Ledger won an Academy Award for the portrayal of the role.
