SMUDGE SAYS: Here's the thing about Kraven the Hunter. He's a big game hunter that chose to hunt big game with his bare hands.

Kraven set his sights on hunting Spider-Man and always failed at capturing him. Kraven finally gave up and was tricked into going on one final hunt for Spidey by his bitch girlfriend Calyspso.

If you look at Kraven, he's pretty much just an above average person who might have set his sights too high. In fact, Kraven doesn't really have too much to bring to the table.

Sure, he's a master tactician, and stuff. But the only thing he has going for him is the fact that he kinda looks like Tom Selleck. Now, if you are familiar with Magnum P.I., and Three Men and a Baby, you understand that Kraven just might have a chance against the web-crawler.

On a sad note, Kraven finally caught Spider-Man and retired from big game hunting. When Spider-Man escaped, Kraven killed himself in shame.

In Summary: Being hairy enough to give your opponent rug burn, and looking like Tom Selleck, are big positives.

Never capturing your ultimate quarry and killing yourself, are big negatives.
