Rogue

ADVANTAGES: Rogue can absorb the powers, personality, memories, and physical characteristics of other super humans through skin on skin contact. The powers are short term if the contact is brief, but there is a possibility of permanent absorption. In one of her early battles, Rogue permanently absorbed Ms. Marvel’s powers, giving her super strength and supersonic flight.

BACKGROUND: Same old mutant story. Rogue developed her powers in her teens and joined the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. Unable to fully control her abilities after absorbing Ms. Marvel’s attributes, Rogue turned to her enemies, the X-Men. It took a while to gain the trust of her new partners, but she has become a mainstay in the super group.

SMUDGE SAYS: Rogue is small in size, but she could deliver a serious beating to whoever crosses her path. The skin-to-skin contact issue is a little bit of a deterrent from trying to hook up with her, though. In hindsight, the last thing you need as a distraction is whether or not Rogue was flirting with you as Magneto is hurling a semi truck at you. Furthermore, her first contact with a regular human (like you and I) sent his ass into a permanent coma. So it you do hook up. Wear a rubber.
