4) Mortal Kombat
Yeah! The hit gorefest video game becomes a movie with Liu Kang, Johnny Cage, Raiden and Sonya Balde keeping Earth safe from Shang and the gang. The best part about this particular movie is that unlike every other video game movie ever made, it is pretty good. It has some epic battles with classic characters, a sweet claymation Goro, and sexy Bridgette Wilson as Sonya Blade, and bad CG effects. [Side note: It was a good year for Wilson, she palyed Veronica Vaughn in Billy Madison the same year.]

3) Quick and the Dead
Sharon Stone comes to town looking for revenge on the mayor. She does so in the most logical fashion. She enters a quick draw contest, and blasts her way through a multitude of people who aren’t the mayor, in order to take him on in a pulse pounding finale.
The Quick and the Dead is a great movie if you want to see:
