8 MMA Fighters with the Best Entrances

In the fight game, it’s rare to see a fighter come to the ring in flashy and flamboyant style. This probably has a lot to do with the fact that most fighters are focusing on not having their head knocked off. Not these guys. This countdown looks at some of the craziest entrances from MMA fighters.

8. Heath Herring

Crazy MMA Entrances
The ‘Texas Crazy Horse’ heads to the ring in his usual black duster and cowboy hat. Another feature that Heath Herring is known for is that in his Pride FC days, he would come to the ring with a different hair style for every fight.

7. Joe Son

Crazy MMA Entrances
Let’s face it. Joe Son was nothing more than an itch that was quickly scratched before Dana White hit the scene. But it should be noted that Joe Son had some interesting entrances before he faded away into almost obscurity. Some of his more notable highlights are: dragging a massive cross to the octagon, effectively tiring himself out before the fight, praying ringside with bible in hand, and having his scrotum absolutely destroyed by Keith Hackney. The last highlight wasn’t an entrance gimmick, but that was the EXACT moment that kept Joe Son from disappearing completely from the annals of time.

6. Phil Baroni

Crazy MMA Entrances
The ‘New York Badass’ had a nice run for a while in the UFC, and as his confidence grew, he started coming to the ring sporting a Ric Flair-style robe, and sunglasses. He continued this trend well into the later stages of his career where he couldn’t buy a win and found himself making out with the canvas on the dark side of the knockout.
