Synopsis: That evil bastard Dr. Wily has set up the perfect trap. He has led Mega Man over to Astroboy’s home turf, and Mega Man, doing what he does best, has begun to infiltrate the base in order to stop Astro from taking over the world. Or so he believes. Astroboy just wants to have some fun on his day off, but wouldn’t you know it. Another battle is about to go down.
Breakdown: Mega Man is always armed with his Mega-Buster arm cannon. He also has the ability to absorb his defeated enemies’ powers and use them as well.
Astroboy can fly, he’s tough as nails, and has been known to punch through walls and occasionally uses a gun hidden in his popeye-like forearm.
To the winner goes the spoils, or possibly energon, in this close-as-can-be dream match.
Results: As soon as Mega Man blasted the door in, everyone was in panic mode. Astro flew up to Mega Man to diffuse the problem, but recieved a wel placed blast to the chest cavity.
Damaged, Astrogoy up and flew into Mega Man, taking him through a series of walls, and eventually, crashing outside. Mega Man dusted off his helmet and began peppering shots at the boy robot. Astro, now in panic mode flew at Mega Man, eating shots as he did. At the last moment before impact, he turned his feet and burned Mega Man`s eyes!
Astro fell to the ground a battered heap, and Mega Man, angrily shaking the pain from his injured face, charged up his blaster, and destroyed the downed robot.
*Editor`s Note: I am very surprised at how lopsided this vote was. all the 80`s kids watched Astroboy, and played Mega Man when they were little, and it`s obvious who the popular choice is.*
